Four Things

Here's what's making me tick right now!

The Care for Art Event soon to take place at the Ejaz gallery will be raising funds for the Care Foundation. The event will be showcasing many greats but this painting below by Ather Jamal really spoke to me. The woman in the picture seems to be of local origin, not too happy, dealing with a tough life it seems but all the colours used in painting her seem to speak of a certain sense of hope.

Some may not agree with the revealing silhouette but this Deena Rehman bride looks ravishing in this beautiful fusion piece. Love everything about this look.

I'm always on the look out for clothes that are forgiving to the Pakistani woman's figure. This top by Daman seems to be just that! However bummer to see that they charge shipping while most of Online Pakistani retailers don't charge for deliveries within Pakistan. Anyhooo... I've ordered mine. The straight stripes should create a slimming affect.

How exciting to see this great collaboration! It's about time well established design houses such as Sana Safinaz give a chance to budding designers. This time it's Inaya, an ethical fashion house! Excited? I sure am!

  1. The bride look very pretty and the dress would have worked if it werent for the dated off the shoulder style. Reminds me of Juhi Chawla in that K-K-K-Kiran movie. completely ruined the look

  2. thanks for sharing the exhibit details. do you know of any pakistani gallery that has an e-store?
