The Fashion Winners at Golden Globes 2014

There have never been so many 'rights' at the Golden Globes or for that matter any award show recently. This time around it was a treat to watch these gorgeous celebrities dressed up oh so right!
Starting off with my absolute favourites.
Cate Blanchett, the night's Best Actress was my absolute number one. I am in love with lace now a days and this Armani Prive Couture creation is bold and heavy in colour but oh so light fluffy and extremely romantic due to the very fragile and well placed lace. The sleeves are curved to perfection for even more femininity, she tops it off some Chopard bling. What's not to love?
While Jennifer Lawrence who was the Best Supporting actress of the night wore a yet again very feminine gown, it felt so delicate as the two thin black lines held it together with so much love and care. Her Roger Vivier clutch was a perfect accessory with this Dior Couture creation.

Sculpted dresses were a big trend it seems. The two black and ivory ( in real it's the lightest hint of green) dresses took my breathe away! Emma Roberts who has grown up to be a beautiful girl was treated to a custom made Lanvin gown, the gown is so extremely fluid on her body and the Kotur clutch is just perfect.
Kerry Washington's gown made me swoon, this gorgeous custom made creation by Balenciaga is the right kind of feminine, gorgeous enough to inspire poetry. Of course the best accessory was her gorgeous baby bump.

The stars of the night were these two very strong gowns, strong for different reasons. Lupita in her stunning block colour Ralph Lauren gown was a dream to watch. The beautiful silhouette on this orange dress was perfect!
While Naomi Watts shined bright in a metallic creation by Tom Ford, feminine but strong.

Kate's metal Zuhair Murad gown was a fun dress, a spectacle. While Alison William's Alexander Mc Queen creation fulfilled the critic in me, a very powerful rendition of Art is what the gown screamed.

Leonardo because he is Leonardo. Zooey Descahnel channelled old hollywood glamour and did it so well in a fairy tale, delicate and romantic gown and shoes by Oscar De La Renta.
