The (FASHION) Winners at the Golden Globes!

The ultimate in glamour spotting have always been 'Award Functions' and the International Film fraternity celebrates the film, fashion and glamour like no other. So what should we expect from these lovely celebrities that have an array of designer dresses, stylists, make up artists and jewels etc at their disposal. Well firstly it is a big event so your look should scream celebrity. Now we don't expect you to bare a lot, shine a lot or even spend a lot! But today we expect grown up, fashion relevant and researched choices from those who we admire so much. I share with you my favorites and why.
1. Our favorite: Anne Hatheway

If you are going to do simple, do it with such finesse that it screams out louder than anyone else! Anne goes for a beautiful CHANEL two piece couture creation. The dress is beautifully textured with matt sequins and the silhouette brings together a graceful femininity and balances Anne's cropped hair do to bring a sensual flair to the look. Anne finishes off with subtle make up and a stunning CHANEL diamond bracelet.
2.  Naomi Watts

Naomi does major glamour with a bold and just drop dead gorgeous shade of burgundy, the gown by Zac Posen plays with her svelte physique. The drama of texture with the silk running from the neck into the waistline, the gorgeous fish tail makes for a moving picture and tail add to the wow factor. We absolutely love the stunning earrings by Lorraine Schwartz.

3. Kate Hudson

Kate is an absolute player, she brings character to her look with an Alexander McQueen gown. The key hole neck is graced with ornate embellishments in gold, the waist is clinched in with some more golden motifs. Kate adds the finishing touches with a gold Roger Vivier clutch.

4. Rachel Weisz

I adore Rachel and her look does full justice to her sweet persona. The polka dot detail, the bow at the waist and the gorgeous peekaboo dress by Louis Vuitton just gel together perfectly. Rachel adds on more glamour with a diamond studded snake bangle and a Jimmy Choo clutch.

5. Emily Blunt

Emily made an unusual choice in a cut out dress by Michael Kors, for me the gold dress is a sure winner! The look is completed with accents of ruby and a sophisticated evening clutch by Ferregamo.
