Armani Prive', Couture 2013

Fashion has come a long way and it feels that a signature collection just doesn't cut it anymore but the challenge for giants such as Armani, Chanel and Versace etc is to stretch as far as they can and still be the inspiration for a huge fashion industry. They are what they are and that's why they do it so beautifully. The collection presented by Armani was true to it's roots but a bit more relaxed, a little more happy. It felt like the Armani woman had been hanging out with the Versace girl and there this gorgeous color frenzy of impeccable silhouettes came about. I love the turkish feeling cap which meets the ornate turkish embroideries in the final looks. Stripes are certainly making a come back. LOVE the hues of red and oranges. Secondly Armani has always been known for it's separates and this collection is no different. Well cut jackets and the straight pant are to die for.
