Runway Review: FPW London 2012

Zaheer Abbas has always been one for bold color but interesting silhouette. This collection was no different, the garments have a very strong contemporary rendering which is a pleasure to watch. My favorite piece is the yellow shirt paired with churidars, love the tassel detail on the sides.

Batur had previously shown at a fashion week in lahore, where I felt he lacked a strong sense of statement style. It seems he is still trying to figure out a genre of design. The collection had a few trendy pieces nonetheless.

Rana Noman presented an all white collection which i believe is certainly not a strong point. His forte is a traditionally strong ensemble, which means color, embellishment and lots of fabric. The men's wear pieces were lovely.

Deepak Perwani's collection was very average, either he is capable of doing great things and he doesn't or I don't know what. I loved the saris but everything else is very average, I guess women's wear isn't his strongest forte.
